Get Ready for Senior Year!

You may be wondering, "Whoa! Isn't it a little early for this? Senior year hasn't officially begun!"

Well, there's a lot to cover, and we wanted to give you a heads-up to let you know you'll be hearing from us regularly throughout the next year, and that there's a GradZone website available to answer many of your questions.

News & Announcements

Are You on Track to Graduate?

This is probably the biggest question you have. Visit our senior year checklist, and meet with BOTH your academic department adviser and your CSA adviser when you return to campus to find out.

You Must Apply for Your Degree

We'll make this easy for you. The CSA and class councils host a fun event (really!) on November 20 where you can knock this to-do item out of the way. In all seriousness, it will make the rest of your senior year just a little bit easier.

Difference Between Class Day and Commencement

Want to know at which ceremony you get to walk across the stage and at which ceremony your degree will actually be conferred? Trying to explain the difference between Class Day and Commencement to your family? Here's the info you need.

Your Senior Portrait & the Columbia Yearbook

Want to be in the Columbian for 2016? Senior portraits for the yearbook happen mostly in the fall, although there will be some sessions offered in very early spring. Also, think about joining the yearbook staff to help preserve your memories. Details to come later.
