On behalf of the entire Columbia Housing team, I extend a warm welcome to you!

Columbia Housing offers students a unique opportunity to make the undergraduate residences home and build a close sense of community within the reach of all that New York City has to offer. The cornerstone of our organization is great hospitality, and we’re working to ensure that check-in is a smooth process for you and your families. Read on to learn more about the steps you need to take before your arrival to campus.

We look forward to welcoming you to the residence halls in August!

Sincerely,
Joyce Jackson

Your New Home in NYC

While you eagerly await the email announcing your housing assignment, take some time to get to know the city that will be just outside your doorstep.

You may know about quite a few iconic NYC staples already—the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square and Broadway, Central Park—but there will be quite a few things yet to discover.

Here are just a few things to get excited about: the High Line, the East River Ferry & Governors Island, the Frick Collection, and the Thursday/Sunday farmers' markets that happen beside the Lerner Hall student center.
