Fielding Questions from Family and Friends

If you plan to head home for the Thanksgiving or winter breaks, don't be surprised if your parents or other family and friends have lots of questions about Class Day and Commencement.

Some common ones you may hear are 1) What's the difference between Class Day and Commencement? 2) How will you get tickets for Class Day (none are needed) and Commencement (details below)? 3) Is there any information on accommodations and parking? Answers to anticipated questions are in the Families & Guests section of the GradZone website.

Apply for Your Degree by December 2

If you missed all the fun at the application event, you can still apply for your degree by completing the pdf form on the registrar's website and either emailing it to diplomas@columbia.edu or printing and returning it in person to 210 Kent Hall.

How to Get Commencement Tickets

You will register to attend University Commencement in the spring. When you do this, you'll also be able to request for up to four (4) guest tickets. GradZone will provide further details as they become available.

My Senior Friends Aren't Getting GradZone

What do you say to a friend who says, "What's GradZone?" If you know someone who should be getting GradZone and is not, s/he should make an appointment with his/her CSA adviser right away!
