1. A monthly newsletter sent November–May to graduating CC and SEAS students to help them complete the tasks necessary to graduate and stay in the know about Class Day and University Commencement. Families of graduates will also receive monthly graduation-related emails.

2. A website with the most current graduation information for graduating CC and SEAS undergraduates and their families.

Apply for the Degree: the Event (11/7)

Apply for your degree this fall to prevent any delay in the arrival of your diploma and to be considered for honors. Come to this year’s Apply for the Degree event on:

Next Thursday (11/7)
10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Roone Arledge Auditorium

You'll also be able to meet with representatives from the yearbook, Balfour (class rings), and the CC & SEAS senior funds, pick up a Class of 2014 t-shirt, and enter a raffle for movie tickets and other nifty giveaways!

Get Your Senior Portrait Taken for the Columbia Yearbook (11/6–9)

Make an appointment through Our Year by entering "87186" for the university code, or call 1-800-OUR-YEAR (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Portraits will be taken in the West Ramp Lounge in Lerner 11/6–8, and in the Alumni Center 11/9.

Getting Your Diploma

Have you put off correcting vital information (like the spelling of your name) in SSOL? Now is the time to fix this, before the information is pulled for both your diploma and the Class Day program! Make sure your diploma mailing address is up to date, too.

Want to know at which ceremony you get to walk across the stage? Trying to explain the difference between Class Day and Commencement to your family? Here's the info you need.

Tickets: Class Day & University Commencement

Guests do not need tickets to attend Class Day, but tickets are needed for University Commencement. The University Commencement Office is expected to release information on the number of tickets avilable and the distribution process later this fall, so stay tuned!

Apply to Join the Columbian Yearbook Staff (11/8)

We’re accepting applications until Friday, November 8, for students interested in managing the creative process of the 2014 yearbook. There are paid and volunteer positions on the staff, including editor-in-chief, academics editor, student life editor, and photographer!
