The New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) is planned by a student committee that represents each of Columbia's undergraduate schools, including Columbia College and Columbia Engineering. This group of student chairs also encompasses a variety of backgrounds, interests and experiences as diverse as yours.

Each NSOP has a theme to reflect the community you're joining and set the tone for your time on campus. This concept was chosen to empower you to take things in your own step and enjoy the ride through your college experiences. Your uniqueness has the power to impact the community and push yourself in ways you wouldn't imagine!
