Dear Columbia College family, Graduation is just around the corner! With this in mind, we want to share some very important updates and reminders with you.
Graduates attend their school's Class Day ceremony, where their names are read as they walk across the stage. Class DayClass Day is the school-specific ceremony where your student's name will be read as they cross the stage. This ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 15 from 8:30–11:00 a.m. on the South Lawns of the Morningside Campus. Guests will not need tickets to participate and seating is first-come, first-served. University CommencementUniversity Commencement celebrates graduates of all Columbia schools. It will take place on Wednesday, May 16 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the steps of Low Memorial Library. Students have received links allowing them to register for up to four (4) tickets for their guests. They will not need a ticket for themselves. Registration will close on Friday, May 4, so please discuss how many tickets your family will need with your student as soon as possible. We also strongly encourage you to talk with your grad-to-be about how s/he will deliver your tickets to you before Wednesday, May 16, as there will not be time to distribute them that day. Each ticket is unique, and must be printed in order for staff to scan at the entrances to the ceremony. |
