Dear Columbia College Family, As your student prepares for graduation, you may still be considering a trip to New York to attend the Class Day and University Commencement ceremonies. We recognize that the costs associated with travel and lodging in New York City are expensive. With this in mind, we have arranged for special rates available to your family at select hotels located near to the Columbia Morningside campus. We encourage you to consider the options below.
We also recommend that you visit the GradZone accommodations page to explore additional lodging options in New York City. Keep in mind that locations in the outer boroughs and New Jersey are not very far from campus when you take advantage of the travel options provided by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, PATH, taxis and car services. As a reminder, both Class Day and University Commencement ceremonies will be webcast live for those who are unable to attend. You will receive an email with the links to each ceremony in May.
