Family Connection - SEAS

Dear Columbia College Families,

Commencement Week will be here before we know it, and we anticipate that many of you are looking for places to stay while you celebrate. We recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible, as there will be many people visiting NYC in May.

There are budget options available near campus such as Union Theological Seminary, International House, and Teachers College.

NYCGO and VisitNJ allow users to search for accommodations in all five NYC boroughs and New Jersey. Booking a room in the outer boroughs and New Jersey can help keep costs down. Keep in mind, no location is very far from Morningside Heights when you take advantage of the travel options provided by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, taxis, and services such as Uber, and Lyft.

To review this and more graduation details, we encourage you to take a look at our Commencement Week webinar recording. As always, you can also visit our GradZone website or contact us for additional resources and support.

We will be back in touch soon with information on yearbooks, graduation announcements, Commencement tickets and other areas of interest, so stay tuned!

All the best,
