Welcome to the Columbia Engineering GradZone!

You are receiving GradZone newsletters because you have begun your senior year or because you are a junior with a high number of credits who may be able to graduate early. Congratulations!

No matter which of these groups you fall into, make sure you stay on track to graduate by visiting our senior-year checklist. (Hint: Your first steps are to review your credits and meet with your academic department adviser and your CSA adviser.)

Know people who should be receiving this newsletter but aren't? Tell them to review their standing in SSOL and check in with their CSA adviser to make sure all their records are up to date.

Apply for the Degree — the event (11/10)

On Friday, November 10, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in Low Library Rotunda, join the senior class councils and advising deans from the Berick Center for Student Advising (CSA) for Apply for the Degree — the event.

This is an opportunity to review and sign your Application for Degree or Certificate — prepared in advance with your information by the CSA — and to ask questions about graduation events, pick up giveaways and enjoy yummy snacks.

Senior Fund Kickoff (10/12)

Join your Columbia Engineering classmates in Carleton Commons on Thursday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m. for the Senior Fund 2018 Kickoff. Come out to celebrate your senior year with food, music and giveaways! Invitation coming soon.

Giving Day (10/18)

Wednesday, October 18 is Columbia’s 6th annual Giving Day! To mark the occasion, the Senior Fund Committee will have a table in the lobby of Mudd (campus level) with coffee and snacks. Stop by for a treat and to learn more about the SEAS Senior Fund!

Apply For Your Degree Online

If you can't make it to Apply for the Degree or are graduating before May, you'll need to fill out and send your application to diplomas@columbia.edu. February graduates must submit their application by Wednesday, November 1. May graduates have until Friday, December 1.
