Once your degree application has been entered by the registrar, the status in SSOL will change to "Submitted," clearing you to participate in Class Day and University Commencement.

Submit Your Degree Application by This Thursday (Dec. 1)

If you haven't submitted your degree application (PDF), be sure to do this on or before Thursday, December 1. Send it as an attachment to diplomas@columbia.edu or bring a printed copy to the Student Service Center in 205 Kent Hall.

Only students whose degree application status is "Submitted" in SSOL (under Degree App Status in the menu), who graduated in October 2016 or February 2017, or who have made a special request to their CSA adviser will receive graduation information in the spring.

Who receives GradZone? In the fall semester, recipients are identified by a report that takes into account students' year of entry at Columbia, year of standing, and current number of credits attempted and earned. In the spring semester, only students who have applied for their degree or graduated the previous October or February will receive GradZone.

Want to unsubscribe? We don't have an option for that yet, but you won't receive any more emails in the spring semester if you do not submit a degree application to the registrar this December.

Want to subscribe? If a friend forwarded you this newsletter, check your spam mailbox and, if you don't use LionMail as your primary email account, your forwarding settings and allowed senders. Next, review your standing in SSOL and check with your CSA adviser to make sure all your records are up to date.
