As the University and New York City have much to offer, the next years of your life will undoubtedly be a period of profound intellectual and personal growth. Throughout your time in Morningside Heights, Student Affairs will serve as a resource and assist you in all matters beyond course instruction.

Our programs and services are designed to complement what happens in the classroom while fostering a sense of campus community and spirit. Columbia's Pre-Orientation Programs

Columbia offers three different pre-orientation programs to assist new first-year students in getting acquainted to life on campus and in New York City. Columbia Outdoor Orientation Program (COÖP), Columbia Urban Experience (CUE), and the International Student Orientation Program (ISOP) have upperclass student leaders who guide new students in their transition to life on campus before the start of NSOP. Applications are now available and are due on June 10.
