Dear Columbia Families,
In just a few short months, we will welcome you to campus to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2012 from Columbia College and Columbia Engineering. This is a very special time for your student and for you and we look forward to helping you build memories that will last forever.
Near the end of the month, the Deans will formally invite you to Class Day and Commencement through an invitation sent by postal mail. In advance, please ask your student to log into SSOL (Student Services OnLine) to confirm all mailing addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers. This step ensures that both your student and you will receive timely information and will remain connected to Columbia after graduation. Additionally, all students who plan to graduate must complete the Apply for the Degree paperwork. If your student has not completed this important process, please encourage her/him to do so ASAP to make certain that their name will appear in the Class Day Program.
My colleagues in Student Affairs and I are committed to providing you and your family with a memorable and celebratory experience. If there is anything that I can do to help, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Matthew Patashnick Director of Parent and Family Programs Columbia | Student Affairs Telephone: 212-854-5822 Email | Web | Facebook
