Which Classmates Have Enhanced Your Columbia Experience?

Student Engagement is now accepting nominations for Senior Marshals, Class Day Awards, and Kings Crown Leadership Excellence Awards.

This is a fantastic way to recognize fellow Columbia College and SEAS students who have made a meaningful contribution to your Columbia experience and takes just a few minutes of your time.

Class Day vs. University Commencement

Need help explaining the differences between these ceremonies to your family? Here's the short version. Class Day: Your name read; school-specific; NO tickets; tented. University Commencement: No names read; all schools participate; up to 4 tickets for CC/SEAS undergrads; not tented.

When Your Guests Ask How to Get Tickets...

You'll be notified about ticket registration in the spring. At that time, you'll log in with your UNI to the specified website and select the appropriate number of tickets for your guests (up to four) before you finalize your registration. You can print your tickets or send them to your guests electronically.

When Your Guests Ask Where to Stay...

There are a number of hotels a close distance to campus. They fill up quickly, so have them make reservations soon. There will also be a limited amount of on-campus housing available to guests beginning in the spring semester. See the “Commencement” menu link on the Housing website for details.

Missed the Dec. 1 Degree Application Deadline?

Submit your application (pdf) ASAP! You can still be considered for honors and other academic awards if it's processed by the registrar over the winter break. You'll know it's happened once your degree application status in SSOL says "submitted."

GradImages will be photographing all graduates at Class Day. To make sure they reach you after the event, please complete the "pre-event email registration" for you and your loved ones. By pre-registering, you'll also get $5 off any order over $25.
