So Many Questions!

Whether you're planning to head home for fall break to see family and friends, or you're finally returning their calls during midterms, don't be surprised if they have lots of questions about Class Day and Commencement.

Some common ones you may hear are 1) What's the difference between Class Day and Commencement? 2) How will you get tickets for Class Day (none are needed) and Commencement (up to four)? 3) Is there any information on accommodations and parking?

It's all about multitasking! Sit for your yearbook picture, and use these portraits for professional networking and job search sites. The first round of fall portraits will be November 4–7. Make your appointment in advance. Full details are online.

Practice Your Pronunciation for the Apply for the Degree Event (11/20)

After you apply for your degree, tell us how to pronounce your name for Class Day! Write out how your name sounds, not how it's spelled, and capitalize emphasized parts. For example, Roar-ee Lion is "ROR-ee LY-uhn." Unsure? You can try out the Facebook pronunciation tool if you have a profile.
