The student planners on the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) committee are busily preparing for your arrival. This message to you is the first of several you'll receive from the committee throughout July and August.

Checklist for New Student Requirements

As a new student, you'll need to fulfill several requirements prior to arrival. This interactive checklist is a great tool for keeping track of what you need to do and learning when your forms have been processed.

Register for the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) by July 27

You must register for NSOP by Monday, July 27. When registering, you will be able to select the two-hour block of time you plan to check in for NSOP.

Connect with Your Advising Dean & Prepare for Class Registration on July 30

Keep an eye on your LionMail account for a message from someone who will be very helpful to you throughout your time at Columbia--your advising dean in the Berick Center for Student Advising! They'll let you know how to make an appointment and how to prepare for class registration.

Dining Dollars and Flex Accounts

Columbia Dining offers a wide variety of options, from purchasing Dining Dollars to adding funds to your Flex account, to allow you to dine according to your lifestyle and schedule.

Columbia Facebook Group for Transfer, Visiting, and Combined Plan Students

Get to know students who experienced what it's like to join the Columbia community after their first year of college, and connect with other students who are new to the campus, like you!
