Ticket Information

Your student received information for Commencement ticket registration last week, and can now reserve up to four (4) tickets for family and guests. Please discuss how many tickets your family will need with your student. You should also agree with your grad-to-be on how s/he will deliver your tickets to you before Commencement Day. Unlike Commencement, there is unlimited seating and tickets are not required at Class Day, where your student's name is read as s/he walks across the stage.

Can We Get Additional Tickets to Commencement?

Unfortunately, no. Graduating Columbia College or undergraduate Columbia Engineering students will be able to request up to four (4) tickets for their guests. No exceptions can be made due to the spatial and security constraints of campus. However, the ceremony will be broadcast live online.

Getting to Campus

Whether you live nearby or you will be visiting from out of town for the occasion, we strongly encourage you to use public transit as much as you can. Parking near our campus is scarce even on quiet days, and besides, we want you to enjoy the ceremonies without having to jump up to pay the meter!

Time to Celebrate

Before you make dinner or party reservations, consider the ceremony end time(s), finding your graduate, and travel time to your hotel or restaurant. We want you to move from the ceremonies to your family plans at your own pace, so make some time to enjoy the moment and take lots of pictures!
