Tickets, Get Your Tickets!

The Commencement tickets you registered for MUST be picked up at one of the scheduled times. Please bring your CUID. (And a smile. After all, you're graduating!) See below for an alternative if you cannot make any of the following events in person.

  • Monday, April 21, 12:00–4:00 p.m., Low Rotunda
  • Tuesday, April 22, 1:00–6:30 p.m., Lerner Hall, Broadway Room (2nd Floor)
  • Wednesday, April 23, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 401 Lerner Hall

Remember to register for tickets by April 11.

Four Days to Select Your Class Award Winners: Vote Today! (3/30)

Choose the recipients of select awards presented at the Class Day ceremonies! You may vote only once and only for the award(s) given in your school. Votes must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 30.

I Can't Get to Ticket Distribution!

If you have extenuating circumstances, you may send someone to pick up your tickets for you. Your proxy must present a completed proxy form and his/her CUID at the designated University Commencement ticket distribution location to pick up your tickets.

...And After I Get My Tickets?

Keep them in a safe place, and don't lose them! They cannot be replaced. Once you have them, let your parents know, and come up with a plan for getting the tickets to your guests before the morning of Commencement. (You think you'll have time that day, but you won't!)

Register for Baccalaureate Service

The Baccalaureate Service on May 18, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Chapel is an interfaith service celebrating the completion of each undergraduate’s academic career. Students should register and wear regalia if participating.

Business Dining Etiquette Lunch (4/8)

Come to the Business Dining Etiquette Lunch to learn how dine like the pros. RSVP, and practice good etiquette by only signing-up if you can make it. Space is limited. Tuesday, April 8, 12:00–2:00 p.m., Havana Central.

OMA Graduation Cord Nomination (4/14)

Help Multicultural Affairs recognize graduating seniors (CC, SEAS, and GS) who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to diversity, social justice, and multiculturalism. At a special reception, honorees receive a cord to wear during the graduation ceremonies.

University Commencement is held on Low Plaza, and the processional route for students includes stairs. Graduates whose disabilities limit their ability to walk or negotiate stairs should contact Disability Services at 212-854-2388 (Voice/TTY) or access@columbia.edu by Friday, May 9.
